Announcing the NEW Success Principles: 10th anniversary edition (Plus, some free gifts for you!)

Jack-with-TSP10Ten years ago, I wrote a book that I hoped would change millions of lives around the globe.

That book was The Success Principles: How to Get From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be. As you probably know, the book became a New York Times bestseller and is now hailed as a “self-improvement classic.” It’s available in 108 countries and 30 languages – and yes, I’m honored to say that it has indeed changed millions of lives.

To celebrate the book’s 10-year milestone – and ensure that it continues to change the world for the better – I’m delighted to announce that we’re releasing an updated 10th anniversary edition that includes a ton of new stories and new success principles to help you achieve even more success in today’s online world.

How Success Has Changed in the Digital Age

Back when I wrote The Success Principles back in 2004, blogs were only just becoming “a thing.” MSN was the biggest brand on the Internet, Yahoo was more popular than Google, and Facebook didn’t exist yet.

Clearly a lot has changed since then!

The Digital Revolution has irrevocably transformed the world we live in. There is such an overwhelming amount of out there – not to mention endless distraction in the form of cute animal videos, meaningless celebrity gossip, time-sucking game apps, and pointless personality quizzes (I don’t care which Harry Potter character I am!) – and if you’re not careful, you can drown in it.

To succeed in today’s connected world, you need to take a more diligent approach to your time management, information management, and life management. You must be able to distinguish between information that’s interesting but ultimately irrelevant – and information that you can act on to create more positive results in your life and business.

That’s why I thought it was essential to add a brand-new section to The Success Principles – with new success principles that teach you how to make today’s technology work for you, so you can find the information and resources that will propel you to a higher level of success and help you create a dedicated community of supporters who will share your message with the world.

Here’s what you’ll discover in this new section:

  • SUCCESS PRINCIPLE 63: Master the Technology You Need

Learn how to eliminate digital distraction from your life – and limit your technology use only to those tools and resources that propel you closer to achieving your ideal life. You’ll get tips on how to maximize your online productivity while protecting yourself against potential security threats.

  • SUCCESS PRINCIPLE 64: Brand Yourself with an Online Persona

Successful people know they have to carefully manage their online persona in order to present a positive image to the world. Discover what your online presence says about you – and how you can master the art of appearing competent, authoritative, and respected in all your online interactions.

  • SUCCESS PRINCIPLE 65: Use Social Media in a Way That Enhances Your Reputation

Learn how to use social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram to advance your expertise, enhance your own personal brand, and attract followers who will stay engaged – and pass your message onto their friends, colleagues, and family.
  • SUCCESS PRINCIPLE 66: Use the Exponential Power of Crowdfunding

The Internet is that it makes it easy for creators to find people who will support their vision and give them the funds they need to get their project off the ground. Learn expert strategies on how to generate excitement for your idea and grow a huge customer base for your product – before you create it.
  • SUCCESS PRINCIPLE 67: Connect with People Who Can Expand Your Vision

Success is a team sport – and the more people you have on your team, providing you with the expertise, resources, and support you need to achieve your most ambitious goals, the faster you’ll be able to create your ideal life. Discover how to use the Internet to build your network of supporters and create a success team that will help you achieve your goals faster.

TSP-196x280Why The Success Principles Are More Important than Ever

Thanks to the Internet, it’s easier than ever before to find the information, resources, and support you need to achieve your loftiest goals and create your ideal life. And it’s easier than ever to start your own business and sell to customers all over the globe – or become an entrepreneur and share your passion with the world.

But with the overwhelming amount of information available to us – and the endless number of digital distractions – we have bigger challenges facing us as well.

That’s why The Success Principles matter now more than ever. By following these time-tested principles, you will be able to clearly define your path to success and overcome all the obstacles – digital as well as those in the offline world, including your own head! – that are holding you back from creating the life of your dreams.

  • Greetings Jack and Janet, I hope that this is another fantastic day for you both. I know that you will be inundated with rave reviews and people’s success stories, so before that happens I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU for all the work and effort you put into this book.

The updates and additional content in this 10th Anniversary edition, from what I have read thus far, really refresh the material and add new relevance to the information. The little nuances, like updating the amount of times Colonel Sanders was rejected, to the entirely new sections at the back of the book, demonstrate that this edition was really intended to benefit the reader and not just add a new title for the book shelf.

I believe that experience is a process, not a one-time event and that everything we learn and experience impacts us for life. As with the original “Success Principles” this book will be a superb guidebook for my journey and undoubtedly for the other millions of readers who read and implement the strategies within.

Warmest regards, Karl Schmidt - Tiny Thought Guy

I am going to buy the new success Principles Book, I have used my old one, it is highlighted, tabbed, and ragged. Last November when one of your coaches told me to go read it at the library, or buy one, and get going, I bought one online. It was used. It had never been opened from its condition, the spine was not bent or wrinkled. Not a page looked turned. The youth book I bought was the same, and it had an inscription in it, a gift from someone to a young person who never read it. And those are people who probably say "I tried it, it did not work". In four months I have published a book that is used for training young people about equine therapy and being supportive (NOT enabling or self giving to make guilt go away) and caring to others and animals. I have been contacted by many people to do radio and print and online interviews. I have been offered a job facilitating for veterans, all to go in my own time schedule in my volunteer work for veterans. AND we, a group of Grandparents, are going in August to cross the country in our Grandparents Marathon to bring support and attention to our 22 veterans a day that commit suicide because they are not getting proper or timely help. We got the idea from a young vet, on one leg, his prosthesis taking months to get ready, riding a bike from coast to coast in an attempt to not give up. We have two more books coming out about women veterans and veterans and their families in crisis, and like the book "Carousel Horse" they are teaching manuals for anyone who wants to teach us about how to help, not just show us the problems. God bless and thank you for sharing so much sharing. This weekend Lisa Nichols is having her writing and speaking weekend, and it is one of my goals to attend her next event to meet many of the thousands on the free phone and internet classes that said I LOVE YOU to each other each day while I was working on deciding to get up and get going again after a horrible accident, and some serious problems with a business problem related to our Director having been assaulted by a student, forced to retire when she sued, and then having two spinal cancer surgeries. You truly can find silver linings, if she had not been assaulted, they would not have found those tumors so early and now she is cancer free and back on the Granny Marathon as we have named our August effort. Looking forward to see my NEW book arriving with FREE gifts.
