Believe in Yourself

If you are going to be successful in creating the life of your dreams, you have to believe that you are capable of making it happen. You have to believe that you have the right stuff, and you are able to pull it off.

Whether you call it self-esteem, self-confidence or self-assurance, it is a deep-seated belief that you have what it takes—the abilities, the inner resources, the talents and the skills to create your desired results.

Now, believing in yourself is simply an attitude. Believing in yourself is a choice.
You have to choose to believe that you can do anything you set your mind to — anything at all — because, in fact, you can.

It might help you to know that the latest brain research now indicates, with enough positive self-talk and positive visualization, combined with proper training, coaching, and practice, anyone can learn to do almost anything.

Now, I have interviewed thousands of successful people, and almost every one of them told me, “I was not the most gifted or talented person in my field, but I chose to believe that anything was possible. And because of that I studied, I practiced, and I worked harder than the others, and that’s how I got to where I am.”

If Ruben Gonzales, a 20-year old living in Texas, hot Texas, can take up the luge, which is a winter sport, and become an Olympic athlete…If Bill Gates who was a college drop-out, can become a billionaire…and Stephen J. Cannal a dyslexic student who failed three grades in school, can become a bestselling author and television producer…then you, too, can accomplish anything if you will simply believe it is possible.

So, make the decision right now to believe that you create all of your experiences, because you do! Let’s start creating the ones you want by believing you can.
Sounds a little strange, but accepting this level of responsibility is uniquely and inevitably empowering. It means you can do, change, and become anything at all.

Activating The Law of Attraction

Jack Canfield on the Law of AttractionThe Law of Attraction is the most powerful law in the universe. And, just like gravity, it is always operating whether you are aware of it or not. Simply put, the Law of Attraction says that you will attract into your life whatever you focus on. Whatever you give your energy and attention to will be magnetized to you. This means whatever you think about, talk about, read about, watch on television, listen to on the radio, worry about, fantasize about, and feel strongly about, you will attract more of it into your life. Therefore, if you stay focused on all the good and positive things in your life, you will automatically draw to yourself more good and positive things. Likewise, if you focus on lack and negativity, then that is what you will draw to yourself.

How can you use the “Law of Attraction” to enhance our life?

The key to utilizing the Law of Attraction is to constantly focus on, talk about, visualize, and expect to receive that which you want-not what you don’t want. To use this Law to your benefit, you have to quit talking about your unwanted current reality and do two things instead:  1) appreciate and celebrate that which you already have; and 2) focus on, talk about, believe, visualize, affirm, and expect that all you desire is already on its way to you. Maintain a constant focus on your vision. Keep your eye and your conversation on what you are already grateful for and what you are creating.

Get started today…

Take time to clarify exactly what you want in every area of your life without limiting yourself by worrying about how you are going to get it. Then write a vivid and complete “ideal scene” of what it will look, sounds, and feel like when you actually have it. Do this for every aspect of your ideal vision-job and career, finances, health and fitness, relationships, fun and recreation, possessions, personal and spiritual growth, and the contribution you want to make to the world.

Next, create a vision board-either in the form of a vision book or a screen saver-that contains visual images of your vision already manifested. Take time every day to close your eyes and visualize each ideal scene as already complete, and, most importantly, to feel the feelings you would feel if you had already achieved this goal or a desire.

Next, release your request to the universe. Trust that you are now attracting the ideas, people, resources, money, and opportunities will start coming into your awareness. Pay attention to them.

The next step is to begin taking action on the creative impulses you receive. For example, if you want to be a doctor, the obvious actions are to study anatomy, biology, and biochemistry, apply to medical school, and so on. Inspired actions, on the other hand, arise from your intuition, during meditation, or occur to you as sudden impulses that have a deep feeling of rightness to them. An example might be that one afternoon you get this overwhelming urge to take some cookies to the elderly woman who lives down the street who always treated you kindly when you were a kid, so you do. When she invites you into her house, she introduces you to her nephew who is visiting, and he turns out to be the Dean of the Harvard Medical School.

Finally, the full utilize the Law of Attraction in your life, you have to become a vibrational match with whatever it is you want to attract into your life. This means creating and maintaining an emotional state that matches the one you will experience when you actually get the thing you are focusing on. If your goal is to be rich, you need to focus on feeling abundant now. You can do this by appreciating what you already have, and continually finding more and more things to be grateful for. You can do it by being generous with what you already have. Most importantly, you do it by thinking abundant thoughts and feeling rich right now.

If your desire is to attract your soulmate into your life, start feeling happy about the relationships that you already enjoy. Act as if you are already loved and adored. Pamper yourself. Buy yourself flowers. Clean up your house or apartment the way you would if you were expecting company. Bring closure to your past relationships by forgiving any hurts and appreciating all the good things that you experienced. Let go of any resentments, guilt, or hurt you might be carrying from the past. Find appreciation for the lessons you’ve learned from previous lovers so that you can be free of the past and live in genuine state of positive excitement about the future.

Believe It Is Possible

Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world. But what we now know is that instead, we respond to what the brain — based on previous experience — expects to happen next.

In fact, the mind is such a powerful instrument; it can deliver literally everything you want through the power of positive expectation.  

But you have to believe that what you want is possible.

This is why it’s so important to always hold a positive expectation that what you want is going to happen.  It is simply a choice and a discipline of the mind.

And as you commit to believing in yourself, also make a commitment to toning down the negative thinking and the complaints that you have in the complaint department of your head. Look at what you are complaining about. Think of all the things we complain about…

I’m fat.  I’m tired. I can’t get out of debt. I won’t ever find a better job. I can’t stand the relationship I have with my father. I’ll never find a soul mate in this lifetime.

Take the time to really examine your complaints because more than likely these are things you can actually do something about. These are not things being controlled by other people, other things or other events. They are things YOU can take constructive action on.

And when you replace your old negative expectations with more positive ones… when you begin to believe that what you want truly is possible… your brain will actually take over the job of figuring out how to accomplish that possibility for you.

It will start to come up with creative ideas. It will start noticing resources and people in your environment that were always there, that can help you, and it will attract people and opportunities into your life.

And … better than that … your brain will actually start to expect to achieve that outcome. But first you have to choose to believe that what you want is possible. Even if it feels like you are lying to yourself at first, I promise you…if you keep it up for 30 days in a row, and you’re going to start noticing some amazing results.

Create Financial Success While Living with Purpose and Balance

Some say, “My passion for music will never be fruitful …” Others may think, “Money doesn’t buy happiness…” These statements may not be necessarily untrue, however, most often than not, they are the result of early childhood programming. 

The truth is that being financially healthy is an essential part of a well-balanced life. Whether you’d like to save money for a dream vacation, create or expand your business, buy your first home, or simply have peace of mind; you need to take specific steps to assess, diagnose, and cure your financial health.

Start by following my Success Principles to improve your financial health:

Shift Your Financial Thinking
Take the time to meditate and reflect on the limiting thoughts and beliefs that you have about money. You may experience fear, hopelessness, shame, or even guilt. What are the attitudes that are holding you back? Once you have identified the root of your early programming, it’s time to let go. A very effective technique I teach is to fully experience the negative feeling, confront it, release it and finally, replace it with a powerful affirmation that will drive your everyday actions and will motivate you to keep striving forward. It is also very helpful to visualize your dream life with a vision board featuring images of what your life will look like when you create financial success.

Evaluate the Condition of Your Financial Health
Make a complete and honest assessment of your current financial situation. Just as your physical health is critical, your financial health is also vital in many aspects if not for the fact of simply giving you peace of mind! Take the time to identify where you are now, and where you want to be. If you’re at the beginning stages, maybe you’d like to learn how to set and keep a budget. Or you might have already established your net-worth by now, and perhaps you need additional resources to assess your business’s financial statements. It’s crucial to have clarity about the condition of your financial health.

Get Your Cash Flow Under Control
We are creatures of habit; you’ll need to make the conscious decision that you will change whatever is necessary in order to achieve your next goal. Focus on the relationship between money and you. This might mean adopting a debt reduction plan, establishing a family savings plan, or figuring out the next steps to reduce your expenses and increase your cash flow.         

Create Your Success Strategy
This is possibly the most important step of the process to create financial success. You have determined the “why”, the “what”, and the “when”, now you have to determine the “How”.  Establish a step-by-step plan to reach your immediate goals. What is the next step? How long will it take until it’s completed? How will you monitor your progress? Do you need to seek additional resources to help you?  When will you start? Don’t worry about getting it “perfect” the first time, it’s an ongoing process and you will undoubtedly make adjustments as you move along.

 Adopt a Mindset of Service
No matter what your goal is, if you drive your results with an attitude of service, you will absolutely receive success. Ask yourself the following: How can you help others? How can your product help others? Could you volunteer your time and help a great cause? What principles are you teaching your children? What will your legacy be? In order to receive you must first give. The rewards of making others happy and acting from a place of service will complete your journey towards creating good and sound financial health.
